Mr. Fahy is the Firm's founding and senior partner. He focuses on complex litigation including white-collar criminal defense. His practice includes performing sensitive investigations and serving as special master in technical and financial matters.

Mr. Fahy served as the Bergen County Prosecutor in Governor Florio's Administration. As such, he was responsible for all felony prosecutions in Bergen County, New Jersey and for establishing policy for 70 police departments. Prior to this, Mr. Fahy also worked in the U.S. Attorney's Office in Newark, New Jersey. He supervised seven federal prosecutors and was the chief of the political corruption unit in the office.

For the past decade, Mr. Fahy has made frequent appearances on Court TV, CNBC and MSNBC as a commentator on criminal court. He is also a lecturer for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education and has taught legal writing at Seton Hall Law Center.

Mr. Fahy received his BS in accounting and MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was awarded a J.D. in 1981 from Seton Hall Law Center and served as President of the Alumni Association.

Mr. Fahy is admitted to the Bars in New Jersey and New York. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He is listed in American Law and was a Vice President of the Federal Bar Association. He is also Barrister for the Inns of Court. He has an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell.

Mr. Benjamin Choi serves as the Firm's managing partner. He has a diverse legal practice which includes complex civil litigation, criminal defense, and business transactions. His experience in such matters includes the representation of such clients as police officers of the New Jersey State Police in employment, disciplinary, and criminal matters; a Municipality in Bergen County, NJ, in tax matters; as well as various small to mid-sized corporations in all aspects of business concerns and commercial litigation. Mr. Choi also has over eight years experience as a Municipal Prosecutor in Monmouth County and Hudson County, New Jersey.

Mr. Choi was admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey in 1999. His education consists of:

  • 1992 Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from Rutgers University,
  • 1997 Master of Science (MS) in Public Policy from the Eagleton Institute of Politics, Rutgers Graduate School-New Brunswick, and
  • 1999 Juris Doctor (JD) from Rutgers Law School-Newark.


He has also studied criminal law at Magdalen College, Oxford University.

Mr. Choi is a former U.S. Army Officer having served in the Reserve, National Guard and Active components. He also holds a 5th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Mr. Choi is fluent in Korean and served as Legal Counsel to a number organizations including: The Korean American Association of New Jersey, the Asian American Political Coalition, and the Asian American Law Enforcement Officer's Association. He also served as the Vice Head of Team and Legal Counsel to the 1999 United States National Tae Kwon Do Team. He is presently Special Counsel and Advisor to the World Tae Kwon Do Federation.

In 2003, Mr. Choi was appointed by NJ Governor James McGreevey to serve as a Commissioner in the Asian American Commission of New Jersey. In 2006, Mr. Choi Co-chaired NJ Governor Jon Corzine's transition committee for the Department of Military and Veteran Affairs of New Jersey. In 2008, he was appointed by Governor Corzine to serve as a board member of New Jersey's Asian American Foundation. He is a Barrister in the Hudson County Inn of Court and a 2003 Leadership New Jersey Alumni. Mr. Choi is also a 2006 recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.

Mr. Dongho Song manages Fort Lee, and Seoul office of Fahy Choi LLC. He studied political science at the State University of New York, Buffalo, from which he graduated with honors, cum laude. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law, focusing on international law, commercial law, and immigration law.

Before being admitted to practice, he served as the CEO of the International Trading Group, Inc. He has a tremendous network of clients and associates and he has significant experience in the area of international business.

Prior to joining with Fahy Choi LLC, Mr. Song established the Song Law Firm and served as its managing partner. Song Law Firm had a great reputation as a fast growing law firm with a great care of its clients.

Mr. Song focuses on immigration law and international business law. He is admitted in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey and the U.S. Immigration Courts.

Mr. Louis DiLuzio concentrates within the fields of family law, complex civil litigation, contract/transactional matters and music entertainment law.

He is admitted to the New Jersey Bar, New York Bar and Federal District Court of New Jersey since 1989. He is also admitted to the Federal District Court, Eastern District of New York and Federal District Court, Southern District of New York. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division: First Department; the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division: Second Department; and, the Superior Court New Jersey, Appellate Division. He has also represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC") and the New York State Division of Human Rights. He also regularly practices in New Jersey Municipal Courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. DiLuzio was associated with a practice in Fort Lee, New Jersey where he specialized in family law and complex civil litigation. Prior thereto, he practiced at a boutique law firm in New York City for approximately 10 years where he focused on family law and music entertainment law. In addition to the above, Mr. DiLuzio has served as a legal consultant to a major New York City media company.

Mr. DiLuzio graduated from Wagner College in 1984 and New York Law School in 1988. He is involved in his community and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Based in the Fort Lee Office, Mr. Kim provides assistance primarily in business, personal injury, as well as business related immigration matters. With his years of business and legal experience, Mr. Kim is adept at managing complex, document-intensive matters and utilizing business presentation technology. Although he is a people person finding it very rewarding to help individuals with various legal problems, he always tries to stay abreast of the ever-changing laws.

Mr. Kim has a wealth of business and corporate experience: he was in charge of the executive management education program at the Hyundai Research Institute. He handled overseas project finance, overseas marketing, and overseas investment at the Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company. He launched a knowledge-based management system at Diamond-Ogilvy Ltd. Mr. Kim served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Kimbal R. Smith III, Judge in the Michigan Tax Tribunal.

Mr. Kim received his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University and Master Degree in Accounting from Indiana University. He was awarded a J. D. Degree from Cooley Law School. Mr. Kim is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey and Federal District Court of New Jersey. He is fluent in Korean.

Randy D. Park concentrates in the areas of commercial, contractual and tort litigation as well as bankruptcy and trusts and estates. He is admitted to the New Jersey Bar and is awaiting admittance to the New York Bar.

Mr. Park obtained his Juris Doctor degree from St. John's School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Government from Cornell University, where he was selected to be a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

He has practiced before the Federal District Court of New Jersey, New Jersey State Courts, and municipal courts. He is fluent in Korean, and is a member in various Korean-American organizations.

Seungjin(Jim) Yang received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from In-Ha University in Korea and J.D. degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2007. Mr. Yang is admitted to the New York State Bar. He is also admitted to the Federal District Court, Eastern District of New York and Federal District Court, Southern District of New York. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

He focuses his practice on the areas of intellectual property, real estates, corporation, business and commercial law. He specializes in patent preparation and prosecution as well as patent litigation in the various technology areas including mechanical and material sciences, electrical, business method, medical diagnostic method, computer hardware and software, and chemicals & biotechnology. He has also developed expertise in corporate governance, board organizational issues, and Initial Public Offering (IPO) for private companies, and also in commercial and contractual litigation related to corporate and business in both NY state courts and NY federal courts.

John Bang is a graduate of Rutgers Law School –Newark where he achieved the rarest distinction of being a senior editor of a law journal while still a first year law student. Since then, Mr. Bang has received countless awards and honors from every level of government as well as a wide variety of community organizations. He has had the rare privilege of serving all four levels of government at the same time; as a Senior Aide to a U.S. Senator, a Commissioner under the Governor of NJ, a member of the Bergen County Health and Human Services Advisory Council, and as the appointed Public Defender in the Boroughs of Closter and Rockleigh. Mr. Bang has been interviewed, mentioned or profiled in every Korean language newspaper, the Bergen Record, the Star-Ledger, New York Times as well as a number of television news programs including Channel 4 News.

Between 2003 and 2009, Mr. Bang served as a senior aide to a United States Senator. During that time, Mr. Bang and his assistants helped over 14,000 NJ residents resolve their problems and issues. Eventually, Mr. Bang decided to leave in order to pursue his goal of running for elected office in his own right. Having recently won an elected seat on the Fort Lee Board of Education, Mr. Bang then decided to return to the private practice of law.

At Fahy Choi, Mr. Bang focuses his practice on a limited range of subject matters as to offer his clients the highest level of professionalism and personal attention.

Mr. Bang recently finished a lengthy training program as part of a process to become a Court Appointed Mediator. Mr. Bang will bring years of experience as a negotiator and a relationship expert to help his client find a win-win scenario through Mediation or Arbitration. Also, Mr. Bang has tremendous personal experience with entrepreneurship. He recently became a small business owner, having established a gourmet restaurant business. Ms. Evangeline Gomez concentrates her practice in family law matters and representing small businesses and non-profit organizations. In addition, Ms. Gomez has represented a municipal governmental entity in defending a lawsuit. Ms. Gomez represents clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody disputes, pre nuptial agreements, domestic violence, DYFS child abuse and neglect cases and termination of parental rights. Ms. Gomez has a published decision, Department of Youth & Family Services v. D.H. and J.V., 398 N.J. Super. 333 (App. Div. 2008), where by the court held that kinship legal guardianship is a permanent placement option for children.

Ms. Gomez has extensive experience in forming, advising and representing small businesses and non-profit charitable organizations. She advises non-profit corporations on a broad range of issues including corporate formation, governance, tax-exempt and employment issues, charitable registration and fundraising, compliance with state and federal regulations, lobbying and political activities, mergers and dissolutions and other business matters including contract negotiations and review. Ms. Gomez's clients have included day care centers, social service organizations, health care centers, import-export companies, clothing boutiques, bookstores, cafés, and religious organizations.

Ms. Gomez serves on the Board of Trustees of Rutgers University. She volunteers her time to many charitable organizations and is the former chair of the Paterson Education Fund and former member of Hyacinth AIDS Foundation.

Ms. Gomez served as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender for the Office of the Public Defender of New Jersey prior to joining the firm.

Ms. Gomez graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Political Science and earned her law degree from Rutgers School of Law-Newark. She was the Article Editor of the Women's Rights Law Reporter and is fluent in Spanish.


Robert F. Martin, Esq.

Mr. Robert Martin serves as senior counsel to the firm. He concentrates his practice on litigation and investigations. In addition to his litigation work in the areas of mass toxic torts, admiralty, aviation, products liability, and contracts, Mr. Martin choreographed several investigations for clients who desired matters to be dealt with in a quiet manner. This experience compliments his work in corporate governance advisements.

Before his entry into law school, Mr. Martin served as an officer in the US Navy. In the military service Mr. Martin deployed overseas three times. His military training included intelligence. Prior to joining the firm he worked in the litigation departments of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker, O'Melveny & Myers, and Dorsey & Whitney.

Robert Martin is a graduate of Tulane University (B.A. International Relations) and Quinnipiac University School of Law (J.D.). He is admitted to practice law in both New York and Connecticut as well as the federal courts in those states.


Richard Vuernick, Esq.

Richard Vuernick is a graduate of Vassar College (B.A. Sociology) and Western New England College School of Law. Upon graduation from law school he lobbied Congress for a consumer advocacy organization, Citizen Action, on legal reform issues. While at Citizen Action, he testified before Congress and appeared on national and local television and radio programs in support of consumers' rights. Following his experience in Washington, DC, Mr. Vuernick returned home to New Jersey, where he served as a Deputy Attorney General. Mr. Vuernick prosecuted white collar crimes, including insurance fraud, corruption and organized crime matters and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of investigations related to those matters.

Since leaving his position as a Deputy Attorney General, Mr. Vuernick has concentrated his practice on fraud-related matters, investigating and representing individuals and entities that have been defrauded. Such matters have included a failed Enron partnership, automobile and health care clinic insurance fraud rings and financial fraud. Additionally, Mr. Vuernick litigates on behalf of whistleblowers with knowledge and information of government contractor fraud utilizing the federal False Claims Act and the parallel state false claims act statutes.

Mr. Vuernick is admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and New York as well as the federal courts in those states.
